Christopher is a Vice President with Edge Capital Markets focused on retail investment sales, primarily the strategic repositioning and disposition of regional malls and shopping centers across the country.
Prior to joining Edge-CM, Christopher was a regional leasing manager for GameStop Corp. (NYSE: GME) responsible for negotiating more than 1 million square feet of corporate leases nationwide, including lease renewals, pandemic-related lease restructures, store relocations and early terminations. He began his real estate career as a licensed Property Tax Consultant providing annual tax appeal services on a portfolio of commercial properties valued over $3.5 billion, saving the owners millions in reduced property tax liability. Prior to real estate, Christopher founded and led an accounting firm engaged in government and nonprofit audit, risk assessment, and compliance work for more than a decade.
As a 2016 graduate of Project REAP – The Real Estate Associate Program, Christopher remains an active member of Urban Land Institute (ULI) by participating on the national Commercial and Retail Development Council, the Dallas-Fort Worth district council as chair of the DEI committee and was chosen to participate in the Center for Leadership Class of 2022 cohort. Additionally, he is a member of CRE Finance Council (CREFC) and International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), where he was recently selected as a member of the Next Generation Leadership Network Class of 2022-2024.
Christopher has earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM®) designation awarded by CCIM Institute, the Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource (SFR®) certification of the National Association of Realtors® and holds both a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Texas system.
