We are deeply saddened by the passing of Charlie Quisenberry, who died peacefully on January 27, 2026, surrounded by his family. Charlie was one of the true good ones. He was known throughout the Austin retail and commercial real estate community for his integrity, loyalty, generosity, and impeccable character. Over more than four decades in the industry, he earned deep respect not just for his professionalism, but for the way he genuinely cared about people. Those who had the privilege of working alongside him knew him as a trusted colleague, a steady presence, and a loyal friend.
Beyond his professional life, Charlie was devoted to his family, his faith, and his community. He was especially proud of his role as “Pop Pop” to his grandchildren, and he gave generously of his time and resources to causes close to his heart, including The Sunshine Camp. His faith was central to his life, and we take comfort in knowing it guided him in all he did.
While we are heartbroken by this loss, we are grateful for the many messages and memories shared by those whose lives Charlie touched. His legacy is one of kindness, connection, and quiet leadership, and he will be deeply missed.
