Brett Gissler is a Vice President with Edge Realty Partners in Austin. In this role, Brett is focused on leasing and tenant representation for national and local retailers throughout Central Texas and surrounding non-metro markets, including Marco’s Pizza, HteaO, The Learning Experience, Subway, Painting with a Twist, F45 Training and various other local retail groups. Brett also focuses on finding investment properties including warehouses, retail and offices for local investors.
Prior to Edge, Brett served as Vice President of Leasing for Henry S. Miller in Austin where he was responsible for project leasing, new development site selection, tenant representation and acquisitions. From 2009 until 2013, Brett worked for Retail Solutions where his focus was on regional power center development totaling over 1 million square feet, and his tenant clientele included Mattress Firm, Popeye’s Chicken, Leslie’s Pool Supply, Supercuts, The Children’s Place, Five Guys Burgers and Fries, Freebirds World Burrito and Paradise Bakery, among others. Prior to Retail Solutions, Brett was with St. Ives Realty where he successfully leased over 150,000 square feet of retail commercial space throughout Texas. In addition, he was responsible for the expansion of Extended Stay Hotel Value Place throughout Houston and Dallas. Brett began his career with WholeSecurity, Inc., building and implementing the security startup company before it was acquired by Symantec Corp. in 2005. Brett is a graduate of St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas, and is an active member of ICSC. In his free time, Brett enjoys spending time with his family and friends, golfing and playing baseball in the Austin Metropolitan Baseball League. Brett also coaches his son’s baseball club and travel team based out of Cedar Park.
