The Goddard School was founded in 1983 in Pennsylvania by educator Lois Goddard Haines. It later began expanding nationwide when entrepreneur Anthony A. Martino acquired the concept and started franchising it in 1988. Today, there are more than 665 locations operating across 38 states.
